Along with the ability to offer customized hosting plans, Hosting Controller enables you to create and maintain any number of resources. You can describe a resource, set up default prices and whether the resource automatically comes in multiples (such as batches of 10).

What is a resource: A resource is any item that is offered as part of a hosting plan and possibly is chargeable. e.g. mail boxes.

To add a resource:

1. Click on the Add Resource link in the Plan Manager menu.

2. Enter the name, more descriptive name, and description of the new resource in the Resource Name, Descriptive Name, and Description fields.

3. Enter the number of items that normally come with this resource in the Default Units field. e.g. 1.

4. Enter the setup price and regular billing price for the resource in the Default Setup Price and Default Recurring Price fields. e.g. 50 and 10.

5. Click on the button.
