Adding a hosting plan |
Hosting Controller enables you to set up and customize any number of hosting plans for your customers. You can set up the name, description, status, cancellation policy, and pricing information.
Once you have added a new plan, might you need to edit the properties of the plan - refer to Editing a plan's properties for more information. You may also need to edit what types of resources are supplied with the plan - refer to Editing a plan's resources for more information.
To add a hosting plan:
Click on the Add Plan link in the Plan Manager menu.
Fill in the following fields:
Plan Name - The name of the plan.
Description - The description of the plan. This will be displayed to customer when he sees the plan details.
Status - The current status of the plan. Only plans with status Available are able to be used for new customers.
Cancellation Policy - The cancellation policy for this plan. The customer can view this information.
Setup Price - The set up price for this plan.
Initial Duration, Initial Price - This is for offering promotional discount. Initial duration of "2" and initial price of "5" means customer will be charged $5 for first two months.
Recurring Duration, Recurring Price - The price of the plan for regular billing.
Click on the button.
Enter the amount of each resource that is provided by the plan in the field adjacent to each resource name. If you do not want to provide a particular resource for a hosting plan, put zero in the available field.
Click on the button.
