Enabling shared SSL for a website |
You can enable shared SSL on the websites any time.
To enable shared SSL:
Click on SSL Setup link in SSL Manager menu.
Click on the button.
Navigate to the folder contents on which are needed to secure using the following actions:
Click on the required folder in the Physical Path list and click on the button to open that folder. Keep navigation until you find the folder which is needed to secure.
Enter a name for SSL share in Alias for SSL Virtual Directory field.
Select the owner of website from Owner drop down list. This owner will be the anonymous user of this SSL share. It is necessary to select correct owner of website from the list
Click on the Yes radio button next to the Allow Anonymous heading. Click on the No radio button to restrict SSL share visibility.
Click on the button.
This procedure will create shared SSL access for domain the website. You may access the shared SSL as https://secure.provide.com/SSLAlias.
