Editing a plan's properties |
You can edit all of the properties of a hosting plan at any time, including the name, description, status, visibility, cancellation policy, and pricing information. This information is used to create a list of available plans for your customers, so it is important that you keep this information up to date. If you need to alter what resources are available in a particular plan, refer to Editing a plan's resources for more information.
To edit a plan's properties:
Click on the List My Plans link in the Plan Manager menu.
Click on the button.
Update the following fields, as required. This information is used to generate a list of available plans for your customers, so fill in the fields in a readable manner.
Plan Name - The name of the plan.
Description - The description of the plan. This will be displayed to customer when he sees the plan details.
Status - The current status of the plan. Only plans with status Available are able to be used for new customers.
Cancellation Policy - The cancellation policy for this plan. The customer can view this information.
Setup Price - The set up price for this plan.
Initial Duration, Initial Price - This is for offering promotional discount. Initial duration of "2" and initial price of "5" means customer will be charged $5 for first two months.
Recurring Duration, Recurring Price - The price of the plan for regular billing.
Click on the button.
